Miniature Read/Write Head
CFG 188 220

Description

The CFG 188 220 is a miniature Read/Write head designed for reading and writing to passive RF/ID tags and badges operating at a carrier frequency of 125 kHz. Its flexible software-based architecture allows it to be configured for communication with tags and badges from different manufacturers. Indeed, with the appropriate PROM, one head can manage tags from several different manufacturers.

Applications

Because of its small size and simple interface, the CFG 188 220 head is particularly well-suited for contactless identification applications. It can easily be integrated into systems such as portable terminals, control panels, PC's, cash registers, etc. This makes it an ideal subsystem for OEM and other manufacturers.
